School and Youth Groups
Here at Adventure Northumberland, we specialise in delivering fun-filled adventure activities to school and youth groups. As Northumberland largest AALA licenced independent activity provider, you know that bringing your group to spend time with us is going to fun and safe. The activities we offer can be done as a half day full day or split day.
Full days start at 10am and run through till 4pm.
Half days are 10am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
Our activities include
- Coasteering
- Canoeing
- Kayaking
- Stand-up Paddle Boarding including our giant 8 man board
- Raft Building
- Rock Climbing
- Bushcraft
- Abseiling
- Guided Walks
- Orienteering
- Problem Solving
- Navigation Exercises
For every 8 students, we offer 1 free space for staff.
Costs for Schools and groups vary on activity, but start at £30 for small groups 6 to 12 in size and £25 for groups larger than 12.
As well as our daily activity sessions we also offer expeditions. Ideal for Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions, although we can run expeditions for any group. Adventure Northumberland ais an Authorised Activity Providers for the DofE.
Expedition options included
- Canoe trip over 2 days or more
- Wild camping in The Northumberland National Park and across the Scottish Borders. The duration can be tailored to suit your group'sis aims.
