Coasteering BIG from Craster

Coasteering is a unique and exhilarating combination of sea level traversing, jumping from rocks, climbing out of gullies, and sea cave exploration. Guaranteed to be lots of fun, it continues to be our most popular activity.

This year we are introducing Coasteering BIG. This is a shorter route but takes in the biggest jumps available that day. The height of these jumps ranges from 8 ft up to almost 30 feet, the bigger jumps are available on low tide sessions, but we will always get you off the biggest available jumps.

However it's not just jumping, there will be an opportunity to try some swims and play in the surf, and a we throw in a few fun challenges along the way as well as some climbing rock faces.

When do we offer Coasteering?

Important Note - If for safety reasons we are unable to run this session, we will move you to our Coasteering Classic route at Howick.

Where do we meet?

We will meet at our base just outside Craster where we have changing rooms and toilets. From there it’s a few minutes transfer to the start.

Stag and Hen Groups - please let us know if you are making a booking for a stag or hen group so we can allocate appropriate instructors.

Equipment

We supply your wetsuits and all safety equipment.

You will need to bring socks and shoes, shoes with laces, please. Not neoprene wetsuit type slip-on, they wash off and are too thin-soled. Training shoes are ideal. You will also need a swimsuit for under your wetsuit and a towel to dry off afterward. It is also worth bringing a snack and something to drink for when you come out of the water. If you have any questions, please contact us at activities@adventurenorthumberland.co.uk

Weather
All activities at sea are weather dependent and your safety is paramount. Should conditions stop us from running this particular activity we will offer an alternate activity/date, failing that you are entitled to a full refund.

We will let you know in advance if we think the session will not go ahead.
