Route Overview
Your kayaking journey begins at the historic fishing village of Craster, where we meet just outside the village at our private changing facility with free parking (NE66 3SS).
After a short safety briefing and top tips on how to paddle a kayak, we’ll paddle north towards Dunstanburgh Castle, following the dramatic coastline of the Northumberland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Depending on sea conditions, we may alternatively travel south towards Cullernose Point a protected nesting site for seabirds.
Throughout the trip, we’ll take time to explore coves, and the unique geology of this wild coastline.
