Coasteering adventures
Jump, swim and scramble along Northumberland’s wild coastline with expert guides. Choose a supportive first-timer route, step up to a bigger challenge, or add a kayaking combo.
Season & availability
We mainly operate May to October. Weekends & school holidays usually include open groups and private groups. Midweek outside school holidays is typically private groups only (subject to conditions and guide availability).
Private groups
Want your own guide and no mixed bookings? Book a Private Group option when you book. Private groups are available in different sizes and start from 2 people, scaling for families and larger groups.
Choose your coasteering
Each option is guided, supportive and tailored to conditions. Final price shows in the booking widget on each product page.
Classic Coasteering – Howick
A family-friendly route with caves, gullies, swims and optional jumps — perfect if you’re new to coasteering.
Big Coasteering
For confident teens and adults who are comfortable with heights and sea swimming — with bigger optional jumps and more exposed sections.
Season: primarily July & August and very tide-dependent.
Kayaking & Coasteering
Start by sea kayaking along cliffs and coves, then add a coasteering section with swims, scrambles and optional jumps.
Safety-first, every day
Coasteering is conditions-led. If weather or sea state isn’t right, we’ll adapt the plan, reschedule, or offer an alternative where appropriate. If we can’t accommodate changes, we refund in line with our terms.
What’s included
Just bring trainers you don’t mind getting wet and swimwear for under your wetsuit.
