UK 3 Peaks Challenge - St Oswalds Hospice

St Oswald’s Hospice – Three Peaks Challenge – 28th to 30th June 2019

We have teamed up with St Oswald’s Hospice for *dates*for the 24 Hour UK Three Peak's Challenge.

The Three Peaks Challenge is a phenomenal experience which combines a tough endurance physical challenge with stunning picturesque landscape. This challenge requires you to climb Ben Nevis in Scotland (4,409ft), Scafell Pike in England (3,206ft) and Snowdon in Wales (3,560ft) –the biggest mountains in their three respective countries- within the space of twenty four hours.

Although twenty four hours may seem like a short space of time to complete the challenge, Adventure Northumberland will be there every step of the way to help you achieve the thirteen hours of hillwalking and eleven hours of driving. The time scale for this event has been carefully measured and completion of the task is more than achievable, so long as you pace yourself well.

The cost of this includes Transport from a local pick-up point and back, taking in all 3 peaks. The services of Adventure Northumberland Guides, who are first aid trained and experienced mountaineers.

Accommodation is provided on the first night as well as breakfast on the first morning and keep you going with tea / coffee and snacks throughout the day.

We do advise to test your ability and to have a taster of the task ahead; one suggestion is that you travel to your nearest mountain in order to try it out before agreeing to this mammoth challenge.

Due to the complexity of the challenge, essential preparations will be necessary in order to complete it and challengers will be offered opportunities to receive specialist training and advice on everything including clothing, fitness and exercise preparation.

By booking onto this event, you are agreeing to raise £1000 to support St Oswald’s Hospice. At this time we need a £100 deposit.
