The Chronicle Sunshine Fund - UK 3 Peaks 24 hour Challenge 3rd to 5th May 2019
We have teamed up with The Chronicle Sunshine Fund for May 2019 for the 24 Hr UK Three Peak's Challenge.
You challenge starts near Fort William in Glen Nevis with an ascent of Ben Nevis, Britain's Highest Mountain set in the beautiful Scottish Highlands and finishing at the foot of Mount Snowdon in The Snowdonia National Park, North Wales 24 hours later, having climbed up 11,175 feet. Ben Nevis at 4,409ft, Scafell Pike at 3,206ft and Snowdon at 3,560ft. This is a massive challenge, ascending in the dark to the summit of Scafell and potentially Snowdon in the dark, oh and there is always the British Weather to contend with.
Adventure Northumberland Guides will be there to support and encourage you throughout, helping you complete the challenge in 24 hrs.
Transport leaves Tyneside 4pm, travel to Fort William, overnight there, breakfast the following morning, aiming to be on the trail for 10.30am.
The cost of this includes Transport from a local pick-up point and back, taking in all 3 peaks. The services of Adventure Northumberland Guides, who are first aid trained and an experienced mountaineers.
Accommodation is provided on the first night as well as breakfast on the first morning and keep you going with tea / coffee and snacks throughout the day.
By booking onto this event, you are agreeing to raise £1200 to support The Chronicle Sunshine Fund and understand that you must raise at least £300 6 weeks prior to departure.
