SUP yoga replaces your yoga mat with a paddleboard. The subtle movement of the water brings a whole new dimension to your workout. You’ll constantly engage your core muscles as you move around the board and maintain balance. It's a great way to keep developing your Yoga, stay motivated and enjoy the outdoors in new ways.
This session is aimed at people who have no experience of Paddleboarding. You’ll get an introduction to the kit at the riverside before heading out onto the water. Our Instructor will coach you on paddle techniques and movement around the board. And there will be some free time at the end of the session for practice.
When do we offer Introduction to SUP for Yoga
We are currently offering Introduction to SUP for Yoga on a Saturday morning and evening every other weekend.
We will supply the boards and paddles. We also provide buoyancy aids for those that are not so confident in the water. You can wear your usual Yoga clothing, however wetsuits are provided and recommended on this session.
We suggest you bring footwear that you are happy to get wet.
If you're using one of our wetsuits you'll need a swimsuit for underneath and a towel to dry off afterward.
Introduction to SUP for Yoga is only available for 18yrs and over.
